Graduated from the Department of Western Languages and Literature of Peking University, and trained in the Naval Command College, Shijiazhuang Army Command College and other colleges. He has long been in charge of operations in South Asia and Africa. He has successively served as the staff officer and director of the Intelligence Department of the General Staff in the army, and is responsible for training Chinese peacekeepers in South Sudan, Liberia, Mali and other countries. He once served as assistant military officer of the Chinese Embassy in the Congo (Brazzaville) and deputy military officer of the Chinese Embassy in France. He has rich international security work experience and is a well-known security risk assessment expert in China.
